About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver community and stakeholder engagement plans in compliance with required protocols
- Identify and manage community and stakeholder risks to minimize project impacts
- Prepare and distribute high-quality communication materials including letters, emails, and newsletters
- Engage directly with community members, stakeholders, and property owners through meetings and site visits
- Manage enquiries and complaints, ensuring they are tracked, reported, and resolved professionally
- Support reporting and continuous improvement activities to maintain strong community relationships
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in community and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of or training in IAP2 principles
- Experience in community engagement within infrastructure, government, or project environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive issues and conflict
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive to and within active construction sites
