Community & Documentation Intern

Responsibilities

• Improve existing customer-facing how-to articles and technical documentation for better engagement, adding visuals and storytelling elements
• Write scripts and create or update product demos and how-to videos
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to learn about FourKites products and services
• Draft, revise, and validate product and technical documents within an Agile software development lifecycle
• Educate internal and external users on the latest product changes and new releases
• Collaborate on strategic projects related to documentation and the FourKites Community
• Complete product certification to deliver high-quality documentation
• Gather data to understand community needs and support community programs

Requirements

• Major in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong English writing, speaking, and editing skills
• Basic knowledge of MS PowerPoint or Keynote Animation
• Some familiarity with technical writing or other forms of writing
• Passion for technology and the supply chain industry
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across locations
