About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and evaluate 7-12 live-in Resident Assistants and community office staff
- Coordinate student development programming focused on academic success, leadership, and community service
- Manage daily residential operations, including student billing, assignment changes, and maintenance coordination
- Serve as a conduct officer within the university judicial process and mediate roommate conflicts
- Act as a primary advisor to the Community Council and facilitate residence life committees
- Participate in a 24-hour campus-wide emergency response rotation
- Manage community budgets and oversee residential facility safety and security
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed by the start date
- Proven experience in residence life and leadership roles
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite and residential management systems)
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- At least one year of professional leadership experience
