Community Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic community plans through various content tactics to support production and marketing goals
• Coordinate communication and initiatives with international departments to ensure consistent messaging
• Create meaningful content for players such as blogs, podcasts, interviews, and infographics
• Act as a brand spokesperson through livestreams, developer interviews, and video communications
• Coordinate community-centric events including studio tours, developer dialogues, and tournaments
• Collaborate with social media managers to define and report on content performance KPIs
• Represent player needs within production and publishing teams to influence game development
• Implement player feedback cycles and facilitate balancing workshops to inform gameplay updates
• Manage and produce internal reports on community feedback, activity, and expectations

Requirements

• Intermediate experience in online community management and strategic program development
• Extensive experience in the gaming industry across multiple gaming platforms
• Deep knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and Discord
• Proven ability to represent a brand in live and recorded formats (livestreams, interviews)
• Experience working in high-pressure production environments with multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of video game community growth and player engagement strategies
• Proven track record of collaborating with stakeholders to implement player feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching a AAA title
• Background in social media marketing
• Experience in digital content creation (video, photo, podcasts)
• Knowledge of multiple gaming genres
