Community Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community strategic plans through content tactics to support Production and marketing objectives
• Coordinate communication and initiatives with global departments for cohesive messaging
• Create meaningful player content including blogs, podcasts, interviews, and infographics
• Act as a brand spokesperson and host community-centric events like studio visits and tournaments
• Collaborate with Social Media Managers to define and report on content KPIs
• Represent player needs within Production and Publishing teams to influence game development
• Shape player feedback cycles and facilitate balance workshops to inform gameplay updates
• Represent the brand publicly through livestreams, developer Q&As, and video communications
• Manage and produce internal reports on community feedback and activity

Requirements

• Intermediate experience managing online communities and developing strategic programs
• Extensive experience in the gaming industry across multiple platforms
• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and Discord
• Experience working in a demanding Production environment with multiple stakeholders
• Proven ability to represent a brand in live and recorded formats such as livestreams and interviews
• Strong track record of filtering and implementing player feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching a AAA title
• Experience in social media marketing
• Experience with digital asset creation including video, photo, and podcasts
• Knowledge of multiple gaming genres
