Community Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community strategic plans to support production and marketing objectives
• Grow existing communities in alignment with business goals
• Coordinate communication and initiatives across global departments for cohesive messaging
• Create meaningful player content such as blogs, podcasts, and infographics
• Act as a brand spokesperson and coordinate community-centric events like tournaments and studio visits
• Collaborate with Social Media Managers to report on content KPIs and ROI
• Advocate for the player experience by providing feedback to Production and Publishing teams
• Manage internal reports on community feedback and activity

Requirements

• Intermediate experience managing online communities and strategic planning
• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, Discord)
• Experience working in a demanding production environment with multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of video game community growth and engagement plans
• Knowledge of or strong interest in the extreme sports industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the gaming industry across multiple platforms
• Experience in social media marketing or digital asset creation (video, photo, podcasts)
• Experience launching a AAA title
• Knowledge of multiple gaming genres
