About the role
Responsibilities
- Support transportation engineering projects for traffic signals and street lighting
- Prepare contract plans, working drawings, specifications, and quantity estimates
- Draft response letters to community complaints
- Coordinate with DOT planning units and community stakeholders
- Assist with Vision Zero and Accessible Pedestrian Signals programs
- Help deliver safety and accessibility improvements for the traveling public
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and 2 years of community work experience, or equivalent
- High school diploma and 6 years of community work experience, or equivalent
- At least 1 year of relevant community work experience
- Experience related to transportation or community-centered activities
