About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee resident engagement, activities, and support services across 3-6 NYCHA developments
  • Conduct outreach during operational projects, emergencies, and service disruptions
  • Liaise between residents, NYCHA departments, maintenance staff, and stakeholder groups
  • Support Resident Associations, tenant participation, and resident consultation processes
  • Coordinate events, resource fairs, job fairs, and resident recruitment for programs
  • Maintain outreach records, resident feedback, attendance, and other key metrics

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree and 2 years of community work, or equivalent experience
  • High school diploma and 6 years of community work, or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 year of qualifying community work experience
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel between NYCHA properties
