Community Clinical Research Educator Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of 3-4 large Future of Medicine screening events per month
• Provide education regarding the Future of Medicine program, clinical research, and study participation
• Perform the Informed Consent process with event attendees, ensuring participant understanding and protection
• Deliver clear and engaging presentations to individuals and groups
• Collaborate with internal teams to strategize and execute community engagement activities
• Support the clinical research team to ensure seamless transitions for interested participants
• Propose suggestions for improving community events based on managerial direction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3-4 years of demonstrated clinical and/or education experience
• Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
• Demonstrated ability in networking, partnership building, and event organization
• Proficiency in modern technology for communication and data management
• Strong understanding of participant confidentiality and ethical considerations in clinical research
• Ability to travel up to 60% nationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in direct participant education or creating community networks
• Healthcare credentialing
• Advanced scientific or public health education
• Multilingual skills
