Community and Family Services Worker

Responsibilities

• Support pre-planned community program activities including food bank operations, crafts, sports, and homework stations
• Provide general administrative support such as greeting visitors and managing reception tasks
• Assist with public relations events and regular community campaigns
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all program participants and sensitive information
• Work collaboratively within a team setting to complete various community service tasks
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks like restocking shelves
• Ability to stand for long periods and engage in physical activity for children's events
• Successful completion of a Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Ability to maintain professional ethics, integrity, and attention to detail
