Community and Family Services Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and modification of community and family service programs
• Conduct case management using the Pathway of Hope program
• Complete initial intake applications and screen for emergency assistance
• Provide guidance and referrals to clients in need
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records and provide statistical reports
• Organize seasonal and special programs such as Christmas Hampers and Summer Kids Camps
• Conduct needs analysis to ensure programs reflect community requirements
• Manage and supervise Family Services Department volunteers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Human Services
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social or human services
• Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to undergo successful background checks, including vulnerable sector screening
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Completion of Non-Violence Crisis Intervention Training, First Aid/CPR, and Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working directly with vulnerable populations
• Experience in the development and implementation of community programs
• Strong public speaking and community networking skills
