Communications Systems Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and configure automation and communications systems for USSTRATCOM/J7 exercises and training events.
• Operate mission-critical communications systems during training, exercises, and real-world event preparation.
• Provide technical support to users across audio, video, VTC, and data systems.
• Manage a wide range of mission-essential systems including secure/non-secure telephones, DRSN, audio recorders, ECC, AMX video displays, DICES audio controllers, JIMDITS, multimedia video walls, GOLD, JWICS, GCCS-J, VOIP terminals, STEN, NPES, and multi-classification VTC systems.
• Coordinate, schedule, maintain, test, and configure JTECC and conference room systems.
• Maintain configuration management documentation for all communications systems in JTECC and USSTRATCOM/J7 spaces.
• Manage laptop computers and provide JECG augmentation as required.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for NC2/ESI and Special Access Program (SAP) access.
• 10 years of experience in communications systems operations and conferencing.
• 5 years of communications expertise supporting USSTRATCOM GOC, Airborne Command Post (ABNCP), or National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
