Communications Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive communications and PR activity for the Brewing & Brands division to enhance brand reputation.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local, national, and trade media.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate brand awareness for Greene King and Greene King Brewery.
• Partner with key stakeholders, including marketing, PR, and Pub Partners, to develop high-performing PR activations.
• Manage the corporate LinkedIn channel, including content development and strategy.
• Collaborate with the internal communications team to support wider business objectives.
• Provide regular reporting on communication efforts to the senior leadership team.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within a busy and pressurized press office.
• Strong media management skills, including experience in crisis and issues management.
• Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and managing multiple expectations.
• Experience in social media content creation and digital engagement.
• Proficiency in evaluation and reporting of communication activities.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound judgments under pressure, and multi-task effectively.
• A genuine interest in the pub and brewing sector.
