Communications Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a robust corporate communications strategy to enhance reputation and stakeholder relationships in Japan and Korea
• Design media engagement strategies across business, technology, and industry outlets including print, digital, and broadcast
• Manage media relations proactively to secure positive coverage and handle crisis communications
• Develop strategic executive communications, including speeches, presentations, and interview briefs
• Translate complex autonomous driving and software topics into clear, engaging stories for external audiences
• Plan and deliver technical and non-technical content such as engineering blogs, case studies, and testimonial videos
• Oversee the communications budget and manage regular media briefings in partnership with global teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven experience in PR or communications within an agency or in-house
• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and strong English communication skills
• Proven track record of working with traditional and non-traditional media in the Japan and Korea markets
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and narrative development skills
• Experience in technology, automotive, or deep-tech industries

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Korean market
• Background in the automotive industry
• Experience in journalism, public affairs, or corporate storytelling
• Content marketing experience within the enterprise SaaS or technology space
