Communications Lead

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to translate complex technical and strategic ideas into clear external narratives
• Own all company messaging including press releases, blog posts, and executive communications
• Build and execute a media strategy to cultivate journalist and analyst relationships
• Manage high-stakes communications such as product announcements and fundraising
• Partner cross-functionally with sales and recruiting to ensure a consistent external voice
• Track engagement and reach data to continuously sharpen communication strategy
• Monitor the competitive landscape to keep positioning sharp

Requirements

• Top 1% writing skills with clarity and precision
• Proven experience in communications, PR, or content strategy in tech or infrastructure
• Track record of building company narratives from the ground up
• Established relationships with tech and business media
• Experience managing high-stakes moments like funding or product launches
• Strong strategic instincts and business context understanding
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, scaling environment
• Sharp judgment regarding communication timing and content
