Communications Intern

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project team to ensure accurate presentation of flagship projects
• Translate strategic communication objectives into concrete actions and creative outputs
• Write clear, engaging content for various formats including websites, newsletters, and social media
• Make complex technical or scientific content accessible to non-specialist audiences
• Track, analyze, and report the impact of communication activities using relevant metrics
• Provide ad-hoc support to other sustainability-focused projects within the agency

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master's or postgraduate program in communication or a related field
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their professional use
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of French, Dutch, or another European language
• Experience with graphic or video editing tools
• Familiarity with website content management systems like Drupal or WordPress
• Interest in event organization
