Communications Graduate Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with graphic design requests including posters, flyers, and social media graphics using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva.
• Manage and maintain UIW Admissions social media profiles across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Create engaging social media content such as captions, short-form videos, stories, and reels.
• Support digital advertising efforts by assisting with campaign management and monitoring.
• Write and copy-edit content for the Admissions website, emails, and various marketing materials.
• Research and refine website content for admission and academic program pages.
• Assist with campus events and tours to provide excellent customer service to prospective students.

Requirements

• Must be a current UIW graduate or doctoral student.
• Proven experience with social media strategy implementation.
• Experience in graphic design and copywriting.
• Excellent writing and public speaking skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
