Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Student Experience Division Communications team on student-centered projects involving content creation, web management, and social media.
• Execute tasks related to design, photography, videography, and copyediting to increase visibility of divisional services and events.
• Support the publishing and accessibility of divisional calendar events and e-newsletters.
• Assist with outreach efforts including tabling, promotional handouts, and divisional event support.
• Ensure all communications adhere to University guidelines and the Editorial Style Guide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, new media management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience supporting communications strategies and plans across various platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional written, oral, and visual communication skills.
• Strong organizational and copyediting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with photography and videography.
