About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Student Experience Division Communications team on student-centered projects involving content creation, web management, and social media.
- Execute tasks related to design, photography, videography, and copyediting to increase visibility of divisional services and events.
- Support the publishing and accessibility of divisional calendar events and e-newsletters.
- Assist with outreach efforts including tabling, promotional handouts, and divisional event support.
- Ensure all communications adhere to University guidelines and the Editorial Style Guide.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, new media management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience supporting communications strategies and plans across various platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional written, oral, and visual communication skills.
- Strong organizational and copyediting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet multiple deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with photography and videography.
