Communications Advisor - Associate

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust communications strategies aligned with ExxonMobil’s priorities for the Bangalore center
• Create engaging written, video, and multimedia content to drive creative storytelling
• Oversee social media presence for the Bangalore center and senior leadership to drive brand visibility
• Provide brand guidance and review materials to ensure a consistent corporate image and voice
• Build and nurture relationships with news media to amplify business initiatives
• Identify external engagement opportunities, including supporting public speaking and speechwriting
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing actionable communication insights
• Monitor social and news media to anticipate potential issues and deliver timely analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public affairs, marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate communications, social media, and content development
• Proven experience in a multinational company setting
• Strong multimedia production skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English
• Proficiency in Kannada is preferred
• Deep understanding of the local social media, news media, and political landscape
