Communication Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and build specific on-site test benches for electrical/electronic component analysis
• Execute functional tests to meet area requirements
• Develop test concepts based on analysis requirements
• Create work plans for test bench construction
• Configure specific software for testing
• Ensure correct operation of test benches during use
• Instruct personnel on the use of test benches

Requirements

• Advanced LabView programming language
• Knowledge of automation and control
• Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
• Knowledge of datalogging in automotive networks
• Knowledge of high voltage systems in electric vehicles
• Knowledge of energy handling and lockout/tagout procedures
• Proficiency with high voltage tools and equipment
