About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses at all levels within the Communication Studies major and minor
  • Develop and implement experiential learning activities for students
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students
  • Manage the program’s internship students
  • Assist with program coordination, development, and governance within the department and the College
  • Maintain a teaching load equivalent to six courses per year

Requirements

  • Proven experience in undergraduate teaching
  • Strong commitment to student mentorship and success
  • Ability to contribute to the development of a new Communication Studies major and minor

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Communication Studies
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Professional experience in areas of communication and media
