About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses at all levels within the Communication Studies major and minor
- Develop and implement experiential learning activities for students
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students
- Manage the program’s internship students
- Assist with program coordination, development, and governance within the department and the College
- Maintain a teaching load equivalent to six courses per year
Requirements
- Proven experience in undergraduate teaching
- Strong commitment to student mentorship and success
- Ability to contribute to the development of a new Communication Studies major and minor
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Communication Studies
- Master's degree in a related field
- Professional experience in areas of communication and media
