Communication Specialist

Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality journalistic and informative content (news stories, video notes, photography) for the CONECTA news portal.
• Produce multimedia materials, including photography and video, for campus events and activities.
• Ensure all content adheres to national editorial guidelines and visual standards.
• Manage and organize the campus audiovisual archive.
• Strategically distribute content across institutional social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram) and internal/external media.
• Consolidate storytelling for CONECTA stories to facilitate multi-format dissemination.
• Manage campus internal communication and oversee the weekly agenda and Tec Campus Screen initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the impact and positioning of published content in external media.

Requirements

• Degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in digital or print media, ideally with experience as a reporter.
• Proficiency in multimedia production, specifically photography, video, and content editing.
• Strong writing and synthesis skills with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of SEO, digital communication strategies, and social media management.
• Ability to analyze social media metrics and editorial indicators.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
