About the role
Responsibilities
- Create timely, informative, and engaging content to raise awareness and support construction projects.
- Build trust and credibility with key stakeholders, residents, community groups, and the public through proactive community engagement.
- Measure and report on the quality and performance of strategic communication goals using specific metrics.
- Maintain a communication and public inquiry database to track requests, actions, and results.
- Utilize multimedia and digital content (brochures, fact sheets, presentations) to support project information.
- Write and publish articles to support project, district, corporate, and employee communication initiatives.
- Collaborate with other professionals to maintain an integrated and high-performing communications team.
Requirements
- Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, political science, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in communications, customer service, or community engagement.
- Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Bilingual proficiency in French (both oral and written).
- Proficiency in modern communication techniques, multimedia, and software applications (e.g., desktop publishing, web creation).
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of diplomacy and tact.

- Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
