Communication Manager

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of Alstom Spain’s corporate communication plan, with a strong focus on Catalonia.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and media outlets in Catalonia.
• Monitor, anticipate, and help mitigate potential reputational issues or crisis situations.
• Draft and develop communication materials, including press releases, campaigns, presentations, and speeches.
• Manage the content and day-to-day activity of corporate social media accounts.
• Track and report on communication activities, analyzing media coverage and evaluating impact.
• Organize press-related activities, such as press conferences, media visits, and product presentations.
• Produce internal news content, monthly newsletters, and coordinate internal communication campaigns.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and partners.
• Monitor and track communication budgets to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

• University degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Studies, or an equivalent field.
• Master’s degree in Communication.
• Proven experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications.
• Strong understanding of the Catalonian and Spanish media landscape.
• Experience managing corporate social media channels and digital communication tools.
• Native-level fluency in both Spanish and Catalan.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent), both written and spoken.
