Common Area Cleaner

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all common guest areas to ensure they are hygienic and visually appealing
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental standards
• Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
• Build professional relationships with team members and guests to foster a positive environment

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending and standing for long periods
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of bins, equipment, and bulky items
• Availability to work a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, with shifts starting between 2:00 am and 9:00 am
• Professional communication skills and a proactive work ethic
• Valid working rights within Australia or New Zealand

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a resort or hotel environment
