Commodity Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute category strategies and initiatives to drive cost reduction and business value
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring and risk assessment
• Lead negotiations and contracting to secure optimal pricing, service levels, and commercial terms
• Manage RFQs and price estimations for both customer projects and serial production
• Initiate and manage re-sourcing, dual sourcing, and continuous improvement activities
• Support target setting and cost/cash programs to meet annual company targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments, such as R&D and Engineering, for technical reviews
• Manage contract lifecycles and handle supplier escalation issues
• Provide data-driven sourcing recommendations through objective analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional procurement experience
• Ability to travel as required by the role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Sage X3 or SAP
• Background in a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in managing direct or indirect spend categories
