Commodity Manager IS

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply continuity.
• Drive synergies across EMEA Lines of Business to improve material productivity and streamline supply chain processes.
• Lead complex project quotations and strategic supplier negotiations to manage risks and secure favorable commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineering and operations teams to improve service levels and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Support manufacturing plants in managing material shortages and resolving supplier escalations.
• Ensure compliance with trade, import/export, environmental, and legal standards in all supplier management activities.
• Analyze programs and policies to recommend improvements for increased supply chain effectiveness.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Business Management or Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Operations, Materials, or Sales.
• Proven experience working within the Electrical Industry.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and supply chain tools.
