Commodity Manager

Responsibilities

• Define, consolidate, and develop commodity strategies through market analysis and spend assessment
• Maintain an effective worldwide supply base aligned with the Space Systems Business Line strategy
• Drive the tender and supplier selection process, including the generation of selection reports and contracts
• Negotiate agreements, monitor contract compliance, and manage claims or escalations
• Lead procurement and value creation projects to deliver synergies and cost savings
• Collaborate with Engineering on new development projects to provide strategic market and commodity insights
• Conduct supplier evaluations, financial analyses, and risk management assessments
• Monitor commodity trends, including global pricing, industry shifts, and material lead times

Requirements

• Proven knowledge and skills in Procurement, Engineering, and Contracting
• Experience in Project Management and Manufacturing environments
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
• Experience working effectively within a matrix organization
• Ability to anticipate, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks
• Proficiency with SAP
• Strong relationship-building and conflict management skills
