Commodity Buyer

Responsibilities

• Set directions for the sourcing and procurement of resin materials
• Lead sourcing activities from the development phase through to serial production
• Manage supplier selection and evaluate the existing supplier base
• Ensure competitive pricing and maintain an uninterrupted material supply
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through process or material improvements
• Lead technical, price, and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and mitigate financial or operational risks

Requirements

• Master’s or Engineering degree
• Fluent English communication skills
• Proficiency with SAP
• Strong knowledge of the automotive market
• Proven purchasing expertise with a strategic mindset
• Experience in professional negotiations and supplier management
• Solid understanding of finance, cost structures, and cash flow
