Commodity Buyer

Responsibilities

• Define the global supply strategy for the subcontracting family, including heat treatments, coatings, special processes, and machining.
• Lead commercial negotiations to ensure optimal conditions regarding price, quality, and delivery (QCD).
• Manage supplier relationships and lead the Supplier Management Team (SMT) to ensure full integration with ITP operations.
• Select, develop, and monitor strategic suppliers to guarantee contract compliance and service levels.
• Mitigate supply chain risks, including non-delivery, market changes, and regulatory compliance.
• Execute operational procurement tasks and manage supplier analysis and offers.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Higher or Technical Engineering).
• Solid experience with MRP systems, specifically SAP.
• Proven expertise in procurement processes and demand management.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to conduct supplier analysis.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
• Experience with ARIBA (Buying, Sourcing, Contract) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace or industrial manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of project coordination and subcontracting processes.
• Advanced digital and office automation skills.
