Commodity Analyst Indirect

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization across indirect spend categories
• Support the RFQ process, price analysis, and supplier selection
• Conduct data analysis on spend, pricing trends, and cost drivers
• Assist in negotiations and contract execution with selected suppliers
• Maintain and monitor supplier performance and delivery compliance
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including operations, engineering, and finance to clarify requirements
• Support cost savings, cost avoidance, and inventory optimization initiatives
• Analyze and report on commodity risks, market trends, and sourcing opportunities
• Ensure strict adherence to procurement policies and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or materials planning
• Proven experience in data analysis, RFQ handling, and supplier coordination
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, specifically in cost analysis and pricing comparison
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement/ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment
