Commodities Trader

Responsibilities

• Manage commodity delta one and options books with an emphasis on larger, longer tenor trades
• Run systematic and discretionary trading strategies
• Manage the full trade lifecycle from signal understanding and idea generation to execution and risk management
• Partner with sell-side counterparts for strategic risk lay-off
• Collaborate with broader commodities and derivatives operations teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in commodity trading options (gas, power, or oil preferred)
• Familiarity with the inter-dealer broker market and bilateral transactions
• Strong quantitative skills in options pricing and risk management
• Understanding of commodity market structure and natural order flow
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to coordinate across different time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to London and Hong Kong for multiple weeks a year
