Commodities Services Technician I

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day picking, shipping, and reclamation functions
• Perform inventory replenishment, packaging, and material reclamation
• Handle waste disposal, housekeeping, and warehouse zone maintenance
• Ensure accurate shipment of materials to Power Delivery facilities
• Prepare new and used materials for return to Supply Center inventory
• Maintain effective communication with Supply Center employees and internal customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles
• Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Demonstrated ability to operate power lift equipment
• Proficiency with hand and power tools (e.g., banding machines, saws, crimping tools)
• Basic computer skills, including email access via Outlook
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and extreme temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a supply chain or warehouse environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
