Commodities Sales Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist senior sales team members in proactive client coverage and pipeline follow-up
• Produce concise daily market updates and themes for clients
• Generate trade ideas and drive execution from quote through post-trade processes
• Price vanilla and structured products across commodities as directed
• Maintain frequent, real-time client communication via chat and phone
• Partner with Credit and Risk teams on limits, collateral, and exposure monitoring
• Partner with Trading to deliver fit-for-purpose risk management and investment solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant sales or trading role
• General understanding of commodities and/or financial markets
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
• Confidence and initiative to take ownership and manage projects independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in oil, gas, or metals commodities
