Commissioning Validation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist in the commissioning and validation of HVAC and mechanical building systems
• Support the planning and execution of functional performance testing activities
• Review and analyze test data, including airflow, temperature, and pressure, to verify performance
• Participate in troubleshooting system performance issues and coordinating corrective actions
• Track and document commissioning deficiencies and resolutions
• Maintain organized commissioning records, logs, and test documentation
• Contribute to the preparation of commissioning reports and system observations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, contractors, and owners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems, or a related discipline
• 3 or more years of related experience in commissioning, validation, or HVAC systems
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, building mechanical equipment, and Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system documentation
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building performance verification
• Proficiency with commissioning software
