Commissioning Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Support the Commissioning Manager in the planning, execution, and documentation of facility handovers according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with supervisors to establish detailed procedures and allocate daily tasks based on project priorities.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, health, environmental, and safety regulations, including work permit compliance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary superintendents (electrical, instrument, mechanical) to meet target handover dates.
• Manage Test Packs, including punch points, reinstatement points, and blind lists.
• Engage with Client Project Teams, subcontractors, and vendor representatives to oversee on-site activities and specialist mobilization.
• Support the preparation of the Commissioning Documentation Dossier and participate in Pre-Startup-Safety-Review (PSSR) activities.

Requirements

• University degree or diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years of overall professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Commissioning Coordinator, Lead, or Superintendent in a multidisciplinary function.
• Proven experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.
• Extensive experience working on the Contractor side.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on execution within Power Plant projects.
• Experience managing similar roles across at least 2-3 projects of comparable scale.
