Commissioning Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and monitor the final stages of construction work and snagging activities
• Oversee commissioning of Water, Wastewater, and Sludge treatment plants
• Supervise subcontractors and manage performance during closeout
• Coordinate setup/calibration of instrumentation, variable speed drives, and PLC I/O validation
• Prepare commissioning plans, reports, SAT, and FAT documentation
• Compile O&M manuals, safety files, and as-built drawings
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with H&S standards
• Provide regular progress updates and technical reporting to management and clients

Requirements

• NFQ Level 7 or above in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-discipline site-based projects
• Proven experience in project commissioning and closeout activities
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control & automation systems
• Full clean driving licence
• Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Project
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the water or wastewater industry
• Knowledge of national and EU standards for water treatment facilities
• Experience with control and automation systems commissioning
