Commissioning Site Manager

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the owner's commissioning site manager for general contractors, designers, and vendors across multiple concurrent data center sites
• Lead commissioning across all five phases for chilled water, HVAC, electrical systems, BMS, and EPMS
• Own mechanical commissioning hands-on including chillers, cooling towers, dry coolers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs, heat exchangers, VFDs, and control valves
• Run pre-site and on-site functional testing such as flushing, pressure testing, and sequence-of-operations validation
• Diagnose and resolve startup issues and provide ongoing system support through handover

Requirements

• Experience managing owner-side commissioning on hyperscale data centers across mechanical, electrical, and BMS/EPMS scope
• Hands-on experience commissioning mechanical plants including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and CRAH/CRAC
• Ability to validate sequences of operation and run flushing, pressure testing, and performance checks
• Experience coordinating GCs, designers, and vendors on-site

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ASHRAE or BCxA guidelines
• Familiarity with NETA test specifications
• Familiarity with electrical and controls systems
