Commissioning Engineer - Stage Machinery

Responsibilities

• Electrical testing and commissioning of systems and equipment
• Setup of drives with fixed and variable speeds and programming of frequency converters and PLC controls
• Analysis and troubleshooting of faults in coordination with site management and project stakeholders
• Reporting and tracking of non-conformities
• Execution of load and functional tests
• Coordination and support of technical acceptances with experts, technical planners, and customers
• Creation of technical documentation and reports

Requirements

• Completed technical training (HTL, FH, or TU) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, control, or automation technology
• 5 years of experience in commissioning speed-controlled drives, ideally in lifting systems (e.g., elevator, cable car, conveyor, or crane industry)
• High willingness to travel (up to 99% for international assignments)
• Practical experience in on-site commissioning and handling complex technical systems
• Knowledge of PLC programming
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Basic understanding of mechanical connections
