Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during the commissioning phase of utility-scale photovoltaic projects
• Monitor and control commissioning activities to ensure proper system performance
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in control and communication systems
• Collaborate with client engineering teams for system validation and optimization
• Support O&M teams during the handover and warranty periods
• Prepare technical reports for Engineering and Quality Control departments
• Deliver training sessions on systems and commissioning processes to O&M staff

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a similar field
• Proven experience in the commissioning of PV plants or energy infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of control systems, SCADA, or communication protocols
• Professional English fluency; Spanish language skills are a plus
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• Ability to work in a site-based, fast-paced environment in Newbern, Alabama
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
