Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test runs, and training activities.
• Interface with engineering disciplines, licensors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
• Execute design activities relevant to QA/QC certification, HSE system control, and Integrated Control System development.
• Provide engineering support and maintain continuous review of production facilities operations.
• Ensure all activities are performed in full compliance with HSE requirements and participate in Pre Start-up Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Identify and resolve technical problems encountered during operations, including conducting root cause analysis investigations.
• Coordinate Management of Change (MoC) processes for any design changes made to production facilities.
• Review and comment on operating manuals, procedures, and commissioning plans.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and perform technical evaluations within the assigned scope of responsibility.

Requirements

• Fluency in the English language.
• Proven experience in technical task execution within a commissioning or engineering environment.
• Strong commitment to HSE compliance and safety observation.
• Ability to provide technical support for pre-commissioning and start-up activities.
• Experience participating in design reviews (e.g., HAZOP, 3D model, Commissionability reviews).
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
