Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electrical power and control systems, including motors, inverter drives, flow meters, and instrumentation
• Carry out functional testing of systems and wet commissioning of pumps, blowers, and compressors
• Identify and resolve electrical issues through effective troubleshooting and fault finding
• Complete detailed commissioning reports and marked-up as-built drawings to support project handover
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with Electrical Site Safety Rules and Health and Safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification and ECS (JIB) Gold Card
• Experience commissioning water MEICA projects and knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
• Qualified to carry out Authorised Person (LV) duties
• Strong technical skills in electrical engineering with high attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-discipline team
