About the role
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test electrical power and control systems, including motors, inverter drives, flow meters, and instrumentation
- Carry out functional testing of systems and wet commissioning of pumps, blowers, and compressors
- Identify and resolve electrical issues through effective troubleshooting and fault finding
- Complete detailed commissioning reports and marked-up as-built drawings to support project handover
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with Electrical Site Safety Rules and Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
- Minimum City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification and ECS (JIB) Gold Card
- Experience commissioning water MEICA projects and knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
- Qualified to carry out Authorised Person (LV) duties
- Strong technical skills in electrical engineering with high attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-discipline team
