Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end electrical commissioning across wastewater and sludge treatment processes
• Test and commission electrical power and ICA control systems
• Identify and resolve electrical faults and issues
• Complete accurate as-built drawings and ensure compliance with Electrical Site Safety Rules and H&S regulations
• Conduct functional testing and start-up activities, including PLC/SCADA signal checks and wet commissioning of mechanical equipment
• Manage quality and handover documentation using DALUX
• Support programme, commercial, and stakeholder coordination through reporting and risk escalation

Requirements

• Qualified and certified electrical professional
• Strong technical electrical engineering background
• Experience with LV Authorised Person duties
• Experience supervising electrical installation on capital projects
• Proven commissioning experience within wastewater or sludge treatment processes
• Ability to produce and check commissioning documentation and test sheets
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
