Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and document the commissioning process for Gotion Energy Storage Systems
• Oversee cold and hot commissioning at customer sites, including Fire Suppression, HVAC, thermal management, and BMS/EMS configurations
• Train customer teams on commissioning and O&M processes
• Manage relationships with Utility scale EPCs and O&M partners
• Prepare commissioning plans, SOPs, checklists, and acceptance testing reports
• Support project management by reviewing design and equipment selection for efficient deployment
• Travel to client or project sites up to 50% of the time

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in renewable energy project commissioning or performance testing
• Strong understanding of SCADA protocols (Modbus, DNP3), networking, EMS, BMS, and utility relay/metering equipment
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work in outdoor environments
