Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Commission railway vehicles and ensure smooth processes at the customer site
• Perform functional tests on rail vehicles and electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Analyze errors using circuit and functional diagrams, troubleshoot independently, and optimize processes on-site
• Collaborate closely with planning, engineering, production, quality, and logistics departments
• Support acceptance procedures and maintain protocols, documentation, and error lists
• Ensure compliance with safety and EHS regulations in demanding environments

Requirements

• Completed electrical engineering training, Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
• Experience in commissioning, plant engineering, or vehicle construction, ideally in the railway sector
• Proficiency in reading circuit diagrams, technical drawings, and documentation
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to independently analyze, operate, and troubleshoot complex systems
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Good German language skills
