Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Commission products and systems on new-building ships, including high-speed separators, fresh water generators, and ballast water treatment systems
• Perform inspection, service, and troubleshooting tasks on marine products and systems
• Conduct investigative activities related to commissioning and service jobs onboard ships
• Provide training to ship crews and shipyard staff during commissioning and onboard voyages
• Complete technical reports and support sales activities through quotations and customer prospecting

Requirements

• Marine Engineering background with strong hands-on electrical and mechanical technical skills
• Willingness to travel frequently within mainland China
• Proficiency in English (both oral and written)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Marine Engineer
• Specialized knowledge of high-speed separators, including mechanisms and control systems
• Experience in the coordination and planning of a mobile workforce
• Degree in Electrical Marine Engineering or experience as a sailing Electrical Officer
