Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Commission products and systems on new-building ships, primarily focusing on boiler systems.
• Perform inspection, service, and troubleshooting tasks on various products and systems.
• Conduct investigative activities related to commissioning and service jobs onboard ships.
• Provide training to shipcrew and shipyard staff during commissioning and onboard voyages.
• Complete required technical reports and documentation.
• Support sales activities through quotations and identifying new customer opportunities.

Requirements

• Marine Engineering background with strong hands-on electrical and mechanical technical skills.
• Degree in Electrical Marine Engineering or equivalent sailing experience as an Electrical Officer.
• Willingness to travel frequently within China and occasionally worldwide.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle pressure in situational environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Marine Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of boilers, including mechanisms, control systems, and components.
• Experience in the coordination and planning of a mobile workforce.
• Proficiency with common Microsoft Office products.
