Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, field support, and sales teams for seamless system integration and project delivery
• Execute project start-ups, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of installed BAS controls
• Ensure compliance with internal processes across Sales, Customer Support, Hardware, and Procurement
• Lead programming and on-site commissioning of system and network-level controllers
• Validate complete system functionality and troubleshoot problems with project engineers and subcontractors
• Follow a "First Time Right" approach to control and limit iterations

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech from a reputed university
• Excellent understanding of Control Systems, SCADA, and communication protocols (Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet/IP)
• 8+ years of relevant experience in the IoT and BMS domain
• In-depth understanding of business processes and product architecture
• Knowledge of server/platform technologies, hardware, storage, networking, firmware, and software
• Experience designing Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS), including control logic and network schematics
• Experience programming various controllers (BACNet IO, Modbus IO) from brands like Siemens, Schneider, ALC, or Distech
• Proven ability to deliver critical projects on time in high-pressure environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional knowledge of IoT systems and microcontroller programming
• Prior experience in the application of Chiller Plant Controls
