Commissioning Electrical Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Support the Commissioning Manager in planning, executing, and documenting the commissioning of electrical facilities.
• Ensure all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities follow stated procedures and agreed schedules.
• Review and develop inspection forms and detailed procedures for electrical items including transformers, substations, cables, and motors.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with the Electricity Supplying Agency or Client during first energization and heavy-duty equipment trial runs.
• Liaise with Client Project Teams, Project Management, Subcontractors, and Vendor Representatives.
• Manage the mobilization and field activities of Vendor specialists.
• Supervise construction support activities during the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional work experience.
• Significant experience in a similar role on EPC Oil & Gas or Refinery projects.
• Proven on-site experience in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on timely problem resolution.
