Commissioning Electrical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead HV, MV, and overall electrical commissioning across all five commissioning phases on multiple concurrent data center sites
• Act as the owner's electrical commissioning authority for general contractors, designers, and vendors
• Own the testing and verification program for generators, switchgear, UPS, transformers, ATS/STS, PDUs, and EPMS
• Run on-site inspections, enforce safety, track progress, and resolve issues in the field
• Lead the final operational handover for electrical systems

Requirements

• Proven experience leading HV/MV electrical commissioning on mission-critical data center projects
• Hands-on experience commissioning generators, paralleling switchgear, UPS, battery systems, EPMS, ATS/STS, and PDUs
• Ability to diagnose and resolve startup failures in live environments
• Ability to hold contractors and vendors to rigorous testing and documentation standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ASHRAE or BCxA commissioning guidelines
• Familiarity with NETA test specifications
• Familiarity with controls and mechanical systems
• Electrical engineering background
